General Info

Middlesex University Students' Union (MUSU) is an independent and democratic organisation run by students for students, on a not-for-profit basis for the purposes of enhancing the student experience.

MUSU is run by Student Government, which makes policy and an Executive Committee that implements that policy. All these positions are filled from the student body. MUSU is aided in this by a team of full-time and part-time staff. The organisation is run according to its Constitution, which can only be amended by Student Government. This sets out the organisation's practices and procedures.

The Students' Union main elections are held in March for Sabbaticals (full-time paid postion)as well as Student Government Members, Campus Chairs, Campus Committee Members, the Student Governor and NUS delegates (all of which are part-time, unpaid positions). If necessary, there are further elections in October.
