General Info

The Students' Union is here for you. It is run by elected officers and student volunteers on your behalf. Every year we recruit student representatives to improve communication between students and the University. If students have something to say about their course, then their course representative should be the first person they talk to. Similarly if students are experiencing problems in halls, they should speak to the relevant hall representative.

By becoming a student representative you will:

ensure that students' views are heard at Board of Studies or halls council meetings;
ensure that fellow students receive better feedback on the University's decision-making process;
have access to a budget;
receive the relevant training;
develop important skills that will look impressive on your CV!
